Biography
Our rock and roll band was formed by a bunch of
guys from Glasgow, Kentucky while we were in junior high school.
Six of us were in the same grade!
We liked music and many of us were already playing in the
school marching band.
We started out as The Assassins, then became
The Mysts of Tyme, and later that mutated into
The MOT Society (remember The Great Society?).
We played dances, proms, frat parties, wedding receptions,
and so on and so on.
For a small town Glasgow had a lot of good bands.
US Inc., Soul Ship, The Five Dimensions, Seven Years War,
and others such as
Itchy Brother. By the way, they later became
The Kentucky Headhunters!
After high school we went our separate ways and then lo and behold it was time
for a 20 year class reunion.
That was in 1990.
We got back together to play and, with a little help
from our friends (and a few thousand dollars worth of
sound reinforcement equipment), we kept on playing.
And we're still rockin' today!
Remember all those other Glasgow bands?
Well some of those guys are playing with us now.
